Discover everything we offer to make your stay a pleasant one.
MAIN BUILDING
In the area’s main building, you’ll find the association’s clubhouse, which also serves as a shared lounge area.
Next to the building is a dance pavilion, where dances are held during the largest gatherings. During the summer season, the pavilion also functions as a versatile activity space, where you’ll find, among other things, a PlayStation 5 console, fabrics for anti-gravity yoga, table tennis, and a dartboard.
KIOSK AND RECEPTION
The kiosk by the gate is open daily from June to August. Check-in takes place here upon arrival.
In the same building, there is also a small and cozy summer kiosk where you can buy, for example, ice cream, sweets, and other summer treats – something small and tasty to brighten your holiday!
SAUNA 1, SHOWERS, WC
BBQ COTTAGE
Next to the main building, there is a grill hut that offers a cozy place to gather in good company.
Here, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and grill, for example, sausages to make a summer evening even more enjoyable.
The grill hut is located right by the lake and has large windows that provide a beautiful view of the water.
At the other end of the main building, you will find WC facilities, showers, and a cozy wood-fired sauna with an inviting, enclosed terrace. An excellent place to relax and enjoy the warmth of the sauna after a summer day.
SAUNA 2, DISH- AND LAUNDRY ROOM
Behind the main building, there is a newer and more spacious electric sauna, also featuring an enclosed terrace.
From June to August, at least one of the saunas is heated every evening, so there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy sauna bathing regularly.
In the same building, you will also find dishwashing facilities and a laundry room. Behind the building, there is also a disposal point for chemical toilets.
SAUNA BEACH
From both saunas, it is easy to take a refreshing dip in the clear waters of Sexsjö. You can enter the water via the pier or directly from the gently sloping beach, which is especially child-friendly.
At the beach, you will also find the association’s own rowing boats and SUP boards, which you are free to borrow – an excellent way to enjoy a summer day on the water and in the peace of nature.
SUMMER WC
SWIMMING BEACH
At Sexsjö, there is also a separate swimming beach that offers many opportunities for summer relaxation and play. The beach features, among other things, a slide, changing facilities, a lake shower, and a zip line.
A wonderful place to spend sunny summer days – perfect for the whole family!
At the other end of the area, there is a separate service building, which is open during the summer season. Here you will find a small summer kitchen, an outdoor dishwashing area, toilets, a pet shower, and disposal stations for chemical toilets and greywater.
INDOOR PLAYROOM
In the barn, there is a small indoor space where the youngest children have their own play corner.
You can borrow board games from the kiosk and come to the barn to play together with others – a pleasant way to socialize for all ages!
Next to the barn, there is also the area’s second trampoline.
PLAYGROUND
Younger children will really enjoy the nice playground, where there is something to do all day. Here you will find, among other things, a climbing frame with slides, swings and a baby swing, a trampoline, a playhouse, and a sandbox with sand toys.
BEACH FOR THE ANIMALS
We warmly welcome our four-legged friends of all shapes and sizes as well!
The area has its own newly renovated dog-friendly beach, where dogs can enjoy playing in the water and cooling off. Near the summer restrooms, there is also a dedicated washing area for pets, where you can easily rinse paws – or even the whole dog – after an active day.
